Are you vested in the local communities of Springfield and Chatham, IL?
Yes!  My parents owned Crows Mill Herb Farm, which encompassed 5 acres of land and a couple of greenhouses. I grew up in horticulture, learning about caring for plants since I was a child and continued working with them for 8 years after graduating college.

I grew up here and raise my two boys with my wife Amy.  We are proud to be a part of the community.

When did you start your lawn care business?
Springbrook Lawn Care was officially started in February of 2017 although our owner, Mike Luckey, has been in the industry for many years.
How do I contact you?
Please choose the method that is most convenient for you. You can call or text me at 217 381-6866. If I am unable to take your call at that time please leave a message and I will get back to you as soon as I am able. Email is also an option, you can reach me at mike@springbrooklawncare.com.  We also have contact forms on our website.
Are you licensed?
We hold the pesticide applicator license in the State of Illinois.
What are your most popular lawn services?
The 2 most popular lawn care services offered by Springbrook Lawn Care are lawn mowing and our fertilization and weed control service.  We do offer an organic lawn care program which is gaining popularity if you are interested in chemical-free lawn care.

In the fall, we do a lot of aerating and overseeding, as well as leaf removals.

Q&A About Our Invoicing and Payments

What does no contract mean?
Once you agree to a recurring service, either weekly or biweekly, your spot on the schedule will be saved and on that recurring date, every 7 or 14 days, the service will be provided. Your scheduled service will continue until canceled by you via phone, text or email.
Do I have to enter my payment information after every service?
Once you have entered your payment method “on File” you’ll not have to do so again. From now on you will be automatically billed and an invoice showing a zero balance and the work performed will be emailed to you each Friday that a service was performed during that week.
How do I pay my invoice?
On the first Friday, after your first service is performed, you will receive an email with a secure link to your invoice. Click on the link marked “Click on this link to pay online:” and the invoice will open in a new window. At the top of the invoice page, there will be an option to “Store Card on File”. Select this link and enter your payment method. Alternatively, you can make a one-time payment by selecting the blue “Pay Now” button. With this method, you will have to enter your payment information with each invoice.
What types of payment do you accept?
We prefer payment by credit card.  It is quick and easy for both parties.  All major credit cards are accepted.  We will accept check or cash if that is your preferred payment method.
When will I be billed?
All billing is handled on the Friday of the week that the service was performed.
What happens if it is raining on my scheduled day?
If for any reason, e.g. rain or wet conditions, we are unable to complete your services on the scheduled day we will send you an email to let you know. Once conditions permit, services will resume in the order they were originally scheduled.
